This guide has it all, a bit of history, a bit of parliament, a bit of everything.
I lived in Brussels for a year but that is not reason why I am fond of this book.
The last time I went to Brussels with the kids, I wanted to find an illustrated kids’ guide to surprise them on the plane (the whole trip was a surprise).
Back then, in autumn 2019, I couldn’t find such a guide in French or in English.
This eventually led me to create my first kids guide.
During that trip in December 2019, I visited the Tropismes bookstore at the Gallerie St Hubert (You should take a walk there, it’s a beautiful building with high ceilings).
At the bookstore, I discovered this little book and thought ‘Ah! Τhis was exactly what I wanted. How haven’t I discovered while searching’.
The reason was that the book was published in November 2019, only days before our trip.
It was the perfect timing.
If it was released a bit earlier, I would have found it on-line and I wouldn’t have been involved in the process of creating travel guides as I am doing up until now.
The guide I have created is in Greek, it is not released yet as I am in the process of convincing publishing houses and travellers, how useful such books are.
There are lot of travel books in the series, some of them in English.
England, Italy, New York, Morocco and many French regions.
There is also a book for Greece, La Grèce des enfants.
I have always wondered what draws the attention of a tourist in Greece. When you live in a place, sometimes you take it for granted.
